"easy to get to from Kyoto train station and near bus stops. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was great and totally worth it. Onsen was great to wind down after a busy day of walking and sweating. Love that you leave your shoes in lockers next to the lobby and walk around in socks. They also provide clothes you can sleep or walk around the facility in and they have all unlimited matcha tea lattes and are delicious! Highly recommend."

"This hotel was fantastic! Very nice and clean with a great view of the Aji River. It's conveniently located near the train station, so getting around in the city was very easy. Best part was able to walk to Universal Studios and many options for dining and shopping. Can't wait to come back! "

"Great budget hotel near the JR station. Checked in and out using the kiosks. Rooms are small, but easily accommodated 3. There's a connected 7-11. There was an unexpected city tax (200 yen a night I think?), but maybe it was stated and I don't see it. Overall a good choice if you're on a budget and will be spending a lot of time outside."
