"Everything was great breakfast, room, staff"

"This hotel hasn’t been updated in a looooooong time. So some things were missing, like USB charging or even outlets on each side of the bed. The furnishings were also very out of date. That said, if you don’t care about the looks, the furniture was plenty comfortable, everything seemed clean, and the location is good. It’s a perfectly adequate hotel and the distance to Jedediah State Forest is unbeatable."

"Pictures online very deceptive. This is a very old hotel. The description of a balcony is quite generous. I had a sliding door onto a concrete pad with a fence separating you from a loud bunch of machinery. Definitely not a place you would want to hang out"

The breakfasts were the perfect start to the day and generally consisted of a small frittata or 2-egg dish served in a Pyrex ramekin, with a side of freshly baked muffins or cinnamon rolls, and whatever drinks you pre-selected at check-in (coffees and orange juice for us). "The property is very nice and the room was clean, although there are a couple things that we found odd. We rented a suite, so the bathroom has a large shower, with clear glass doors. But there is nowhere to hang a towel that you can reach before stepping out. There is a towel hook across the room on the stub wall that comes out between the counter/sink and the toilet. But there is plenty of room on the wall right outside the shower door, the hook should be there. Also, we had a king size...
