The no drive beach is a plus for taking long walks in the evening. The Great Ocean management responded quickly to my emails and were very helpful. I would recommend this property to others."

"The owners were very likable and made every effort to make my stay enjoyable. They are dog friendly and Gracie really loved all the attention. The breakfasts were yummy… homemade scones and muffins, quiche and cowboy scramble 😊 I would definitely stay there again if in New Smyrna "

"Amazing place. On the beach. Rooms have all you need. Hotel has 5 rooms and there are two chairs and umbrella for each. Coffee, water and pops are free. Plenty of towels. Not luxury hotel but all what you really need and on right spot. Will recommend to everyone."

"Its a great location on the Intracoastal and a short walk up the shopping street to the beach. I suppose for the area its a good value, although we found our room to be very small. "
