"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep."

"Beautiful and well located if u want to be in the French quarter . Stayed in one of the tower rooms so well laid out - very dog friendly . Very busy lobby. the restraunt /bars at hotel always full. Room service is all night (!) but more like take out - comes in boxes w no plates ."

"Its extremely crowded, takes a while for valet to get your car bc of how many people are there, they hold $150 for a security deposit and the elevators stopped working. And also i was awoken at 4:30 by loud gunfire..and someone died around the corner. Other than that... its was ok"
