Warm bathroom with hot water which you might think goes without saying, but the previous night we stayed in a hotel without either of those things. Parking onsite which was such a bonus. "Comfortable and cosy room, a welcome oasis from the weather outside. Perfect central location and a great view out onto the market square. Well equipped, and with a good hot shower. All the staff we encountered were super-friendly, and it was an all-round nice and welcoming place to stay for a winter break."

Quiet, with a fabulous restaurant, charming lounge rooms, hot showers, spacious rooms, and really friendly and accommodating staff - Alex was exceptional. Not sure how accessible it is for someone who has difficulty with stairs - so maybe check with the venue if that might be a problem for you (perhaps they have ground floor rooms??). "Our room was very comfortable. We stayed with friends (6 other couples). We all had a great time and were well looked after. The bar staff (I think one was named Oliver, or Olly) who stayed back late to prepare our drinks for new years were great, helpful and in good spirit. We used the facilities (swimming and gym): all very adequate (the pool is not deep, but a good length. Food was fine, but importantly service was good. "

It’s a cosy little oldie worldly pub with 2 open fires, was nice and quiet when we went with a few locals in of an evening. Owner very helpful. Would recommend 👍"
