"We stayed in one of the lakeside rooms which had a beautiful view. Room was slightly cold because of this but reception did provide us with an extra heater. It was my husbands birthday so they provided a gift and prosecco which was lovely. Food was great, lovely staff and clean hotel. Book ahead for the spa to avoid disappointment. "

"Great location, very quiet with beautiful walks to the lakes and surrounding village. Excellent equipped kitchen to prepare home cooked meals. Bed was very comfortable and the house was warm inside. "

A special mention for the lovely guy on reception who checked us in, and really did make us feel most welcome, he was extremely informative and nothing was ever too much trouble! "Spent 3 nights at the cotteswold House. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is a 5 minute walk from Bibury, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the cleanliness and house keping top notch, the breakfast is amazing and the host Ricardo is such a nice and helpful guy. "The staff in the bar and at check in were super friendly and helpful. The room was really lovely. Roomy, comfortable, good size tv and large en-suite bathroom. Quiet, warm and lovely biscuits in the room. Best of all the mattress was soooooo comfortable. We had lunch in the bar which was yummy too. Would highly recommend staying and eating at The Tawny Owl.
