"I did not expect this place to be as nice as it was, I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Chicago and looking for a very nice looking hotel to stay at. Everything was just beautiful. And very clean."

"While making the reservation, I saw that breakfast was listed as included. However, when we arrived, we found out that breakfast was not actually included, which was disappointing. In addition, the room did not have toothpaste among the provided toiletries. I hope the hotel can improve the accuracy of its booking information and ensure that essential amenities are available for guests."

"I didn't expect the room to be luxurious, as you generally get what you pay for. However, finding hair all over the bed, sticky floors, rust stains in the bathtub, numerous bugs, an extremely noisy air conditioner, and a very dirty carpet was simply unacceptable. These cleanliness and maintenance issues made the stay quite unpleasant. It was first and last time for the Redroof."

"The only issue was I stayed for 4 nights and my room was never cleaned. This issue was reported to from desk staff the second and third night with no resolve. A message was also left with the manager. There was no response. If this is normal practice it should be stated on their website."

"Very large and busy, quite different from other Hamptons I’ve stayed at. The building is older and needs some paint, etc. but overall appeared clean. The surrounding area and mall/dining are very nice. The one complaint I have is that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable - there was a dip that made it difficult not to roll out."
