Daiichi Hotel Tokyo

"This hotel was amazing. Staff was friendly and always greeted us when coming and going. Highly recommend getting premier rooms as they come with breakfast every morning, fresh flowers in lobby, wonderful fragrance, security doors to rooms and a beautiful lounge with free bottled water and tea. It was a nice quiet place for our group to meet before going out for the day. The buffet L’ETOILE in the hotel was all 8 of our favorite restaurants to eat at this hotel. There are 2 places to have your included breakfast, L’ETOILE is the best. Room size was adequate and all amenities were excellent. My husband and I LOVED the toilet and the fact that the ventilation worked VERY WELL. Let’s just say you never have to wait for the air to clear before the next person uses it, but I think that may happen at all hotels because it certainly was the case at the public ones too. Metro station is only a few blocks from hotel and Imperial Palace was also walking distance away IF you enjoy walking less than a mile. We will be coming back and staying at Daiichi"

"We stayed as a family of 5 in one of the large Japanese-style Premium rooms. There was absolutely loads of space, the bathroom was private from the rest of the bedroom and there was a washing machine, microwave and small kitchen area. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the stay was very pleasant and peaceful. A great option for families. Familymart is also right across the road for buying essentials, drinks and snacks."

"Overall, a good experience at this hotel. The room was adequate, clean and in good order. I chose the breakfast included option. The breakfast available both Japanese and western were good, but I’ve had better for similar levels of hotels. The views from the restaurants were great. The pool was good. Food and beverages. Also available at the pool. While it’s OK to drink your beverages at poolside, you have to go up to a patio area for food consumption. There are several subway lines within 15 minute walk of the hotel. Overall, this is a huge property and sometimes overwhelming. They have a fantastic Japanese garden with some restaurants nestled in them."

"I really liked the location. They actually replace the sheets and bedding if you ask for room cleaning. I love that the toilet and bath was separate as well. It was a little dusty in there, but after one room cleaning, it was a lot cleaner."

"Having the restaurant downstairs was very useful for us because it was a place to have a buffet breakfast and authentic Japanese breakfast and a place to have quiet time. The staff were wonderful and they all spoke English. The location was perfect because it was easy to get around."
