"Stayed here for a night before a Doubtful Sound cruise. The location was perfect (right down the street from the RealNZ ferry). The facilities were simple but very comfy. Right along the water with multiple paths around the grounds. Felt like a cool little community with many different travelers. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area!"

"Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again"

"Room was on ground level with a parking spot directly opposite the room. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom and small kitchenette. Bed and couch were comfortable and there was a small dining table to sit at. Service at reception was friendly and The motel is a nice quiet street and a short stroll along the water/lake into town to get some food. "

"Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Very close to lake, National Park Visitor Center, and town center. Beautiful walking paths in the area. Quiet area."

"Everything was fantastic! As described, it better. The quality of the deluxe apartments was perfect. All appliances were high end and what a treat to have a beans to cup coffee machine to use each morning. Check in was simple and separate parking available- would definitely make a bee-line to stay here again!"

"The room was perfect. Clean, all amenities needed and the view of the lake from the deck was lovely. "

"The place was not very clean. There was a stain on the double bedsheet. The kitchen utensils, pots, plates, bowls, cups and glasses were not properly cleaned. The laundry room was quite dirty. The living room sofa looked worn off. The nicest place of this motel room was the bathroom. The motel office was closed most of the time and hence, we were not able to let them know our concerns. "
