"We stayed 4 nights. Location was great but since we stayed less than 6 nights they didn’t do room service which was sort of a let down. Having to wash your towels and stack bags of garbage was not the greatest but it’s a limited staffed counter with remote check in/check out access so just be prepared with that in mind. "Room is big with 2 beds that could fit 2 persons each so me and my daughter slept comfortably. However, had the beds been a western single there could be more floor space for luggage and walking. Our bidet was faulty (runs out of water quickly so button had to be pressed often) but I didn’t let that bother me. "The Nol Hotel was very easy to get to from Kyoto Station and it is centrally located- close to the Nishiki Market and the busy shopping district. We loved walking around the neighborhood, exploring the shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really liked the small lobby and enjoyed making origami animals with the colorful paper provided.

"Excellent place to stay for a family
of 5. Two of my kids stayed on japanese style futon. My (tall) 18 year old on the pull out couch. Mom and dad on the 2 double beds side by side. Kitchenette available Laundry available. Dryer doesnt typically work well, but it was available. Really enjoyed our stay."
