"Very clean and comfortable hotel with style but lacking in old fashioned service and support. No phone in room, no doorman help with bags or luggage up to room, young and hip staff to support look and feel but service goes a long way in this industry and it lacked attention and genuine helpfulness for the price paid"

"Booked the room due to high reviews but had an average experience. The room was small but nicely designed and quiet despite facing the busy street. Breakfast was good and a free beer at the pub downstairs was appreciated. On the negatives the stairs/hallway smelled like fish and chips which fortunately didn’t impact the room and TV and WiFi spotty at best. Overall, a fine and convenient home base for exploring the area but won’t be a return trip for me."

"Very comfortable bed, which is important, but the experience was hit or miss in many respects. Positives: Location. Very central and plenty of good restaurants in the immediate area. Across from tube station. Negatives: room was musty. It was better when we turned off the air conditioning (moldy air) and opened the windows. Breakfast was not worth the price so we only ordered it one morning (there are many great breakfast places right near the hotel)."

"The property is located within short walking distance from Earls Court station and Gloucester Road. I loved how spacious this hotel was including all the amenities we needed. The staff were all lovely and accommodating - we requested an extra blanket, mirror to do our makeup, and late checkout and they were super lovely and helpful."

"Absolutely loved our short stay in this beautiful hotel. Quirky and boutique, it is perfectly located for anybody wanting to visit the South Kensington area which of course includes the wonderful museums and the Royal Albert Hall which is only 10 minutes walk away. A warm welcome, immaculately clean spacious and really comfortable room, super bathroom with a great shower and lovely large soft fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities in the room which were very welcome, air conditioning...

"The hotel is ideally located— in the heart of Kensington, a short walk to Museum row and Kensington Palace, and just steps away from the underground ( with service via the Picadilly line direct to Heathrow). A lovely, well appointed property. Excellent hot and cold breakfast, with a lot of choice."

"Loved the place. Value for money.. everyday cleaning is a blessing when you’re with kids. Gloucester road station is 5-6 mins away by walk and very easy access to all parts of london by tube. The area is super nice. Very clean and peaceful. Would love to stay here again."

"A really nice little hotel which knocks the spots off the big-boy chains by it's very professional and personable staff. The only thing missing was effective air conditioning but many others don't have this either. Cleanliness and great staff will ensure we're back again :-)"
