"I booked this stay for a wedding in Charlevoix. I called to arrange for an early check-in two weeks prior to the stay in which I was told by 3 (very helpful) employees that my reservation was not real, and that I should contact hotels.com to proceed with a refund. Between contacting the management company, and hotels.com I have gotten the complete runaround for this non-existent stay. "Loved the area but this cottage was just ok at best. Musty smelling. One sofa which only really fits 2 people made it hard to have a group of 4. Linens could use to be updated. Outdoor area was nice. Surprised there was some firewood so we go to enjoy a nice fire!"

"DIRTY! This unit was dirty in many different areas, like several dead bugs in the corners, dried food in the stove and the refrigerator had a spoiled odor. Also the unit had a stale odor to it. Since . This made me feel uncomfortable and unable to relax during my visit. I tried to resolve with Red Awning, but their communication is slow. I recommend that the host ensure a thorough cleaning before guests arrive."
