"全体的に良かった。特にキッチン周りの充実(ホームベーカリーやバリスタ、冷蔵庫のデカさ、食器の清潔さ、などなど)や本格的なバレルサウナ、家具などは満足。一方、チェックイン16時からなので、1泊2日の場合初日は十分にサウナを満喫できず、15時だと嬉しいところ。チェックアウトが11時なので翌日に楽しめたが、できれば時間を気にせず初日に楽しみたい。"

"easy to get to from Kyoto train station and near bus stops. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was great and totally worth it. Onsen was great to wind down after a busy day of walking and sweating. Love that you leave your shoes in lockers next to the lobby and walk around in socks. They also provide clothes you can sleep or walk around the facility in and they have all unlimited matcha tea lattes and are delicious! Highly recommend."

"Good location for my agenda (East of the River). I appreciate the effort put into making breakfast available, not essential but it was nice. It is a 10 minute walk from the major tourist strips, which is a very good thing in my opinion. The mattresses are on the firm side, and the AC was possessed, but otherwise the rooms are excellent with a great bathroom and very spacious. I was on my own but the room would serve two people comfortably. I have seen some very bad reviews here regarding rude staff, I can only attribute this to very bad luck (or manners), as I have stayed here twice and the staff have always been extremely obliging , friendly and professional. I travel to Kyoto about once a year, and will continue to return to this hotel. Thanks."

"Great budget hotel near the JR station. Checked in and out using the kiosks. Rooms are small, but easily accommodated 3. There's a connected 7-11. There was an unexpected city tax (200 yen a night I think?), but maybe it was stated and I don't see it. Overall a good choice if you're on a budget and will be spending a lot of time outside."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the outside, it has a traditional vibe, but inside, everything is clean, modern, and well taken care of. The room was spotless, and the staff were super kind and helpful the whole time. The location was great too — really close to Kiyomizu-dera and the Kamo River, which made sightseeing very convenient. There wasn’t anything I’d complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, I think a Japanese-style breakfast option would’ve been nice. Still, overall it was such a lovely experience. After a long day of sightseeing, it was the perfect quiet and relaxing place to come back to. Also, the coffee and bread from the café on the first floor were surprisingly good! I’d definitely recommend this place to friends. It’s a great hotel for the price."
