"Not worth the money"

"The hotel was in beautiful area with NYC VIEWS. Easy commute to and from the city. Quite and historical interesting area. Close to ferry to water taxi and close to eatting area. The room was a little outdated but nothing to cry about"

"From arrival to check out the W staff were helpful welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful with a great view. We enjoyed all the W had to offer. The location was close to restaurants and shopping and was located along the Hudson River. A great place to go for a walk and enjoy the views of NYC. This was a return visit and we will be back."

"I’ve had great stays at the Ganesvoort but this one was mediocre at best. Elevators took forever (15 min!), service was really bad too. I sat down to eat at C&C and was told to expect an extra 20 minutes once I ordered and half the menu they were out of. Not worth the money unfortunately."

"Good location, takes a day or two to get used to. Feels very cold in appearance almost like ur in a prison setting. Under beds super dirty so kicked up my allergies. Did have a blow dryer there although a review I had seen said they had no blow dryers. Housekeeping kept up with daily pick up and towel replacement. It’s perfect for young travelers on a budget, not older seasoned travelers."

"We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn on W 36th in NYC. Upon arrival all the staff were very helpful, they stored our bags safely while we toured the local area until our rooms were ready. They called when one room was ready but not the other 2. I booked through Expedia and prepaid the room, which I will NEVER EVER EVER do again. This hotel charged me again for all 3 rooms when I checked out. Had to go to the front desk and speak with someone 2 times. The first person claimed I was not charged...

"Excellent Hotel. Clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Excellent accommodating staff. Great access to Penn Station. Likely to stay here again for during a short trip to NYC. For practical matters ... The rooms are small. But everything fits. The bedding is "European," meaning no top sheet. So the duvet was more than necessary which lead the periods of being hot ... Then cold when I pushed it away ... Then hot when I pulled it back ... And so on and so forth. Further, instead of one king...
