"We found the staff to be super friendly, accommodating, and added to our stay immensely. They made a great stay fantastic! The hotel has got a nice vibe. The views were spectacular from our rooms as well as from the rooftop deck / bar. Additionally, the gym was one of the better hotel gyms we've seen. Definitely recommend a stay here!"

"While Chelsea Pines isn’t a bougie 5 star accommodation, that’s exactly WHY we love it. Over the years, we have booked hotels ranging from $300/night to special moments at $1200/night stays. Chelsea Pines is the ONLY place we’ve ever stayed repeatedly. We stay because it feels low key, like home, needs are met but nothing feels fake or fussy, feels like of being part of the neighborhood. If we need anything, staff is amazing at special accommodations we request when traveling for work (like early check in). This trip, we had a very loud child right above us. Chelsea Pines feels (and was in one of its past lives) more like individual apartments right down to the occasional noisy neighbor. It’s my own issues that I don’t enjoy young children, their noise, and am a light sleeper. I had important meetings and couldn’t imagine being kept awake by the sound of my new neighbor who apparently had no need for sleep EVER. I requested that staff kindly ask that the child be kept quietly caged (kidding!) and they were able to gently request that the kiddo keep the ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ level of raucous to a more Mr Roger’s Neighborhood vibe and all was well. It meant the world to me to not be made to feel like the villain in someone’s “family’s first trip to nyc” story. Most of all, it means the world to have a quirky, down to earth place to call home until we can stay full time in our favorite city. Chelsea Pines helps keep our nyc dream alive."
