"This was my first time in Turkey and we stayed about 9 days. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so close to everything. We walked almost everywhere: Hagia Sophia, Blue Dome Mosque, Basilica (which were 20 feet from the hotel), Grand Bazaar, and close by to restaurants that you did not have to use or pay for any transportation. (Avoid taxis at ALL costs, if you can). It is better to find one of the all day rental companies with the black vans and pay a set fee before you use...

Staff is very helpful to get good deals on dining locations, guides, and shopping and they provide good catered advice for the type of tours based on your needs. "The Hotel ran out of tourist map. Not the best start for a tourist not speaking Turkish. We were assigned a room that has drainage issue with the shower bath tub. Our shower took longer than usual bcos we had to pause the showering water to avoid flooding the bathroom. Still, the bathroom floor was very wet after. We requested for a change of room & they responded quickly & changed our room after breakfast the next morning. Other than this blemish, other aspect of the hotel was fine.
