"Tenaya is a great lodge, well-maintained, rooms were spacious and beds comfortable, pool was very nice for kids and adults. Very close to Mariposa Sequoia grove (15min), about an hour from Glacier Point, the Yosemite Valley, and about 2.25h from Tuolumne Meadows. Unless you're staying in the Valley you just have to plan for the 'commute' into the Park or plan with a tour group. Our family had a great time and would highly recommend the lodge!"
"The lodge was Great! Right across from the river and not too far from Yosemite park. About 30 minutes into the valley, beautiful drive along the river. It’s We just stayed there for 5 nights. The lodge is well maintained and clean. I like that they don’t do housekeeping service unless you request it. When we asked for things they brought them right away. The pool is refreshing too after a hot day in the park. The breakfast is a buffet for $24 so we skipped that. Wish they had a free continental breakfast. We just bought some instant oatmeal and ate that before our hikes. Some conditioner in the shower would be nice too. Otherwise we were happy with the lodge."
"This place was one of the best places we have stayed at property was very nice and convenient for a family . Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and spa . The breakfast was top notch so delicious like a breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay and recommend this place so beautiful."
"This place was great. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Honestly, the pictures on the website make it look small and not well appointed. So while it’s not newly remodeled, the room we stayed in was large and clean and had comfortable clean beds and a kitchenette and a Jacuzzi tub and was right on the river. The property has several pools, some of them not in operation. And a really awesome game room. Its vicinity to Yosemite is stellar only a few miles away. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Yosemite Valley.
We have two noteworthy concerns. First, the Wi-Fi was very intermittent and not steady even to send texts and pictures sometimes. Except in the lobby where it was very strong. Second, they need more trash cans around since they don’t do trash, pick up and only room service if scheduled.
We would definitely stay there again and we appreciated the staff and the amenities and Location very much."
"I was really impressed with this lodge especially for what it is and where it is! I was super nervous about the drive into Yosemite being long but it wasn’t a problem and the trade off for how great the lodge is, was worth it. My only feedback:
The pool is dirty and lacks enough shallow space for young toddlers. I hung out on the steps with my toddler and there were dead flies everywhere, the pool needs more frequent skimming. Secondly, the rec room has awesome toys for young kids, our toddler loved it! But it is HOT in there! I think for a play space designed for young kiddos it’s important to keep them cool, even adding a ceiling fan or corner fan would help a lot! Overall it was a great stay!"
