The staff was very, very helpful and kind, and the accommodations were entirely satisfactory. The only frustration, and it's a small one, is that the swimming pool listed in the dscription was being repaired, and was therefore empty. The plumbing was clean and functional, and the air conditioning was perfectly OK, and there were no bugs in the room.
There is a quite nice cafe right next door, although unfortunately for a jet-lagged North American, it does not open for breakfast until 10 a.m.
The only exploration of Quezon City which I did was to go with two friends to Eco Park, a close ride in a tricycle taxi. It was very pleasant there.
For a VERY moderately-prized hotel in an ordinary part of the city, I would recommend it. There is a university quite close by, Far Eastern University, and there seemed to be quite a few students who lived at the hotel, while attending their courses. I would assume they get a long-term rate, but I didn't inquire, since it did not apply to me.
