Hi Mandy, Thank you for a great review, its great to hear how much you appreciated the interesting design and architecture of the property, we do try to let the history of the building shine through! Apologise that the lighting design wasn't quite to your taste, I believe the designers opted for muted lighting for a more intimate cozy atmosphere, however we do provide lamps on request if you desire.
