The room is old and rundown. Need maintenance and refurbishment. The pool is not clean and full of sands on the floor tiles. Everything need to be change!

Premise was run down. Both Lift wasn't working so had to climb 6 floors to the appt. Bedsheets and towels were with yellow stains. One of the toilet heater not working. Party ongoing somewhere in premise into the wee hours. Luckily was only for a night.

Great property. Good location. We had a few issues with the Wi Fi but the communication with staff was very good.

Pleasant stay
The hotel is very accommodating and acceded to my request for a high floor unit. This is helpful especially when there was some minor hiccups- no towels and toiletries, cannot unlock the unit from outside. WiFi was also not working. On the plus side, the unit was reasonably big, has a very good view and is well maintained. On the whole, it was a pleasant stay.

Good experience
No reception counter but personalized service. Staff sent message to ask for ETA and gave good directions and instructions to the apartment which otherwise could be confusing. No-fuss check-in at the apartment itself. Apartment in good condition. Overall, a good experience.

Good stay but bad PR.
Room was nice n neat. Only the beds were flimzy and check in was complicated as we had to call the agent to come and handover keys instead of the hotel check in. And not sure why they kept massaging and asking if i need this and that. Should improvise on customer relation skills as its not a professional way to deal with guest. Overall good stay.

Have booked three apartments. Have clearly indicated it's 3 to an apartment. However, all towels and necessities are prepared for only 2 pax. Blankets stained. Hot water turn cold after awhile. No direct passage to Malls. Have to walk a Long way out and Long way back in.

Clean, spacious, good location, great service
Jetty Suites Apartments are located within the same compound as Mahkota Hotel Melaka and is just a stone's throw away from Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. The unit is very well kept and amenities include: - full sized fridge - cooking hob - cooking utensils, basic set of cutlery and crockery - hot/cold drinking water dispenser - free wifi - cable TV (Astro) - basic toiletries (shampoo, body wash, soap) - bathing towels The common area can do with more maintenance but to be fair, it is not within the control of the Jetty Suites. There is an option to borrow a local smartphone to provide a data connection on the go (hotspot tethering capable) which I recommend. Calls and messages are payable but data is free (within reason e.g. no 4k video streaming). The staff is very friendly and helpful. As the staff is not located onsite, requests have to be prearranged e.g. housekeeping, replenishment of drinking water etc. but they have very good response times. Communication is via the loan smartphone mentioned above and calls to Jetty Suites service numbers are free. Do plan ahead and give them some lead time. My unit has 2 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other room. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with standing shower. The apartment can easily accommodate a family of 4-5 persons easily.

Very nice stay of the hotel ! Self drive to the apartment a bit difficult to find , but when we reach there a staff was very helpful and very good service!

Nice hotel, good location. Worth the stay. Friendly staff. Aspier the manager was v friendly. Hope they will change the hotel name to Jetty Suite Apartment formerly Majestic as is kind of confusing when we first arrived in the apartment. Overall its satisfying.

The premises is too old. Even the refurbished furniture is unable to save it. The only saving grace is the staff who makes an effort to ensure that everything is ok. excellent service I must stay. They made my stay an enjoyable one.

The apartment is spacious. That's about the only good thing. No smart phone rental as mentioned on their website. No reception or office on site, and seriously short of staff. we waited for long for the guy to come and bring us to our apartment. After we entered our apartment, we were told to wait for him again inside the apartment and it was another 45min before he finally arrive to check us in officially. Only bath towel provided; no hand towels; and stains can be seen on the bath towels. Bathroom design lousy, bathtub was too high for my parents to climb in safely. Design of bathtub was bad too as water will flow from the ledge of bathtub onto the floor of the bathroom during shower, flooding the entire bathroom. Location was ok, but nothing in the immediate vicinity. No proper crossings to shopping center and have to walk a big round before we can get out of the hotel compound. Rooms not soundproof, loud sound from the traffic can be heard till 3am on sat night. The apartment is located within the aged and rundown compound of mahkota hotel; facilities such as lift, pool etc are very old and ratty.

Good choice for family/group of friends
The apartment is good for family/group vacations. Spacious and clean. Amenities in the apartment were also good. Good location - it is in the Mahkota area with plenty of good restaurants and a shopping within walking distance, yet the apartment is situated in a peaceful and quiet location away from the bustle.

only ONE working elevator
Imagine a 20+ stories high building with only ONE working elevator and you are staying somewhere near the top. The wait will drive you crazy.

Hotel staff gave us a call to inform us that Jetty Suite shared the same compound as Mahkota Hotel (which we didn't know). It's a plus service but it could have been better if it was listed in the website, and that we should take the entrance from the back. it would have saved us some walking. It was quite noisy as there was construction work going on. The staff was nice to let us extend our check out time as our coach was at a later time in the evening. Note: bring your own toothbrush as it is not provided.

Everything is great, but quite noisy with the traffic (city view unit) for facing the main road connecting to all the shopping malls nearby.

Near to everything. lots of one direction lanes in malacca central area, n sometimes a bit jam. Hotel itself was gd, my kids enjoyed swimming there, saw indoor kids play room as well. Many TV channels to choose from, got a water dispenser n a full size fridge in the kitchen. Great for family, though the apartment is not as new as i thought.

For crossing the street to Mahkota Shopping Centre, we would like to recommend guests use the much safer major junction near the back entrance of the Costa Mahkota to cross instead of the one near Costa Mahkota's lobby entrance where there is no traffic light to indicate when a pedestrian should cross. 1 night stay. Will recommend to others!!
Arrive 6pm+. Once I was guided up to the 1st floor carpark, the staff already waiting for me at the lift. He guide me to my room. The room is a bit old from the look of the wall paper. But overall, its clean and neat. Because I booked 2-bedroom. The whole place is spacious and feel so relax. All tourist attraction is just 10-15min walking distance.
