Clean and convenient but pathetic facilities

Residence is clean and comfortable. Can accommodate up to 10 guests which is great for family and friends trip. Sean is efficient and helpful. Location is convenient from makota shopping area and short drive to jonker. The only negative part is the facilities are not hotel standard. The pool was poorly maintained with algae by the side and kids could not swim. Gym is pathetic. If you are only looking for comfortable and convenient stay without use of facilities, this is a great place.

Location: very good, mahkota parade just across the road. Free car park available. Cleanliness: Excellent! Clean bedsheets, comforter, towels, setee.. Amenities: clean towels, shampoo and body soap provided. Even Cuckoo,fridge, plates, glasses, washing machine, drying rack, iron & iron board are ready to use. Facility : swimming pool, gym, tenis court, mini golf range, kids playroom Service: exceptionally good, friendly, fast response and negotiable. Instruction given easily followed and undestandable. Tip top, good job Sean! Nice having you as our host. Price: Most affordable and reasonable for Large group like us. I think this is the cheapest one I found for 3 rooms, 2 bathroom, Kitchen, balcony and numerous facility in costa mahkota. Overall : Excellent staycation especially for big family like us. Felt like staying in hotel/resort! Our family voted 10 out of 10. Thanks Sean! See you again soon. Great staycation experience in Melaka!

My friend and I had a good time staying at this residence. the check-in is easy and fun. the location is great, the view is amazing. Inside this residence, there is everything we need: comfortable mattress, air con, hot water, fridge. Our host Sean is friendly and helpful. He helped us to check in on short notice. highly appreciated! Definitely recommend this property to my friends.

superb place to stay at in malacca!

this place is a gem! so happy that i chanced upon it. we were a party of 5 so the 2 bedrooms were more than sufficient to house us comfortably. u’d be abit skeptical because the exterior looks old and worn but once u step into the apartment u get a totally different perspective! looks newly renovated and fully equipped with fridge, microwave and a hot/cold filtered water dispenser. Sean was also ever so helpful from giving recommendations to accommodating check-in and check-out arrangements. Parking was also very convenient. Only gripe was perhaps the sound proofing of the rooms, even though the room was on the 11th floor but facing a big cross junction so u could hear motor vehicles all through the night. something to be wary of if you’re a light sleeper. other then that, superb place to stay in!

Tay family stay at Malacca

The owner, Sean, is very friendly and helpful. His response is very prompt from the day reservation was made all the way till check out. My unit was 1133 and it has very nice sea view from the balcony. It has almost 180 degrees angle to catch Sunrise and Sunset although it was raining on both occasions during my stay. The living room and bedrooms are quite spacious and good for big group. It has instant hot and cold drinking water. The only negative feedbacks are the small step in the bathrooms and low bed which are not very ideal for elderly. Nevertheless, my group members which include many elders like the environment.

no regret staying 2 nights here, owner very friendly, the whole apartment very clean and tidy, can't find a dirt even at the balcony, worth to stay for families holiday or group of friends vacation, location perfect easy to find place for dining and shopping, definitely, highly recommended for those who wish to holiday for feel like at home. Thank for the friendly owner who very understand and very helpful for helping to let us check in early.

Place was close to many areas so finding things to do or places to eat was not an issue. However for the pillows in the unit, they were slightly too soft and thin which was the only downside

Excellent accommodation

The host is really2 helpful and friendly. It such a great accommodation for my fmly and me. The facilities are complete - living hall, bedrooms, kitchen, toilets are clean. Very well maintain. I Rate 10/10 stars for the property and 11/10 stars for the host service provided.

Great location and very clean apartment! My in-laws and all the kids love the place and asked when can we go back again! Host was very attentive and really went out of his way to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. Is definitely one of our top choice for accommodation in Malacca!

Awesome and amazingly clean place. Hotel venue is walking distance to malls and jonker streets, The place is extremely clean, fresh sheets, full amenities, nice kitchen with drinkable water. Good for families as its very very spacious. You can even do your laundry. Its like home away from home. Most importantly, very comfortable beds. Host was extremely accommodating and helpful and friendly.

I love the fact that the host is very welcoming. The residence is spectacularly clean and the modern concept appeals to me. If any improvements to be made would be the inclusion of TV's in every room. Overall the apartment is awesome. Just that the whole building needs repainting.

The host is a very pleasant, enthusiastic, hardworking person and responded quickly to all our questions. The unit we had on the 13th floor is rather new and spotless clean. Beautiful sea view! In the kitchen there is a machine for hot and ice water and also a separate tap for drinking water. Good air conditioning and good hot water shower in both bathrooms. We can tell that the host takes a lot of pride in the unit and in making us feel welcome. Overall a comfortable stay! Mahkota Hotel itself is on the other hand rather old. The place needs a major renovation. The pool water was not clean on the day we went swimming and the pool slides were broken. We tried eating at the cafe but service was really slow and we had to cancel our order. To get to the city centre we had to cross a big busy road with no pedestrian crossing. Quite challenging if you have kids and older people in the group. For bigger families or groups who can’t fit in a hotel, Amadel’s Residence is definitely good value for money!

Excellent stay! The property manager met us at check in, explained everything very clearly and took great care of us. The three bedroom apartment was perfect for our party of seven. Super clean, excellent service. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed for a month! Great value. Convenient location walkable to local sights. Highly recommend, would stay again if we ever visit the area again !

Awesome stay!

We stayed at Amadel's for 2 nights and we totally loved the whole experience! As we had a child with us, cleanliness was our top priority and this apartment really impressed us. Sean hosted us, he took his initiative to check on our requirements a day before we checked-in and made our check-in very smooth. He was also helpful to make sure we were comfortable and gave us useful tips for sight-seeing. The hotel amenities were also good. The view was also very impressive! Sean was thoughtful to put for us an additional double bad which made our stay more comfortable. Overall, we are highly satisfied with Sean's service of going the extra mile to ensure we were happy. And the cleanliness of this apartment was amazing. Thank you so much Sean for making this trip of ours so memorable and lovely!

Amadel Residence a home away from home

Sean the host was very on the ball. He communicated with me the very next day after I confirm the booking at Amadel Residence. All information that I need to know regarding the booking and places to visit in Malacca was being informed. The location was good and the unit was overlooking the Straits of Malacca. Overall our stay there was great. We would definitely stay at Amadel Residence when we are in Malacca again.

Had a very good stay in malacca even though is for 1 night, will definitely come back to this apartment for future stays in malacca, good location, cosy, comfortable and clean, friendly n responsive host making sure everything is to our satisfaction.
