"What a cool hotel! Funky retro style, the views of Mt Cook & surrounding scenery are unbelievable!! We were in the older part of the hotel but it was fine. Next time I’d probably go for the Premium Plus rooms in the bigger tower for the unobstructed views"

"Grand Suites Lake Tekapo – Outstanding stay This was one of our favorite stays. The suite was large, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with a great sense of openness. The kitchenette had everything you’d need for a proper stay — and the bathroom and shower were especially impressive: modern, spacious, and very well finished. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and clearly designed with comfort in mind. Location is also excellent — easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the lake, and all the main sights in Tekapo."

"Room was huge, comfortable and affordable with free parking. Everything I needed and loved being right beside the lake, whilst also convenient for Mt Cook National Park, Lake Tekapo and restaurants in town. It felt very safe, relaxed and family friendly."

"Check in staff were friendly. Our room was large and comfortable. The property and rooms are a little dated but it suited us for a night before and after our cycle trip. Location is great, an easy walk to cafes, supermarket and the pub. An option to use the guest laundry if needed."
