"Hotel in the centre of Andover. On site parking can be limited. Spacious room with good amenities. May be slightly dated and access was via narrow corridors up and down a selection of stairs so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but it is a character building.Comfy bed, great shower and really fast wifi. Great restaurant serving a good selection of meals. Breakfast was only served from 8am so after I had to leave each morning."

"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. "We arrived late and stayed for one night after a wedding nearby. Was so glad for the spacious car park because I was absolutely shattered and it was so dark. We stayed in a twin room with double and single bed. The single wasn't quite as plush as the double and my daughter was so disappointed she wasn't allowed to sleep in the big bed! This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things!
