"From the outside the hotel is starting to show its age but clearly there is refurbishment work ongoing. The public areas and rooms are spotless, well appointed and comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable and we will use the hotel again"

"Cheap and cheerful (staff). Room was clean, basic, bed was comfy. Serves it's purpose but at £50 for the night I've stayed in far worse. Would consider again. Limited food from a Service Station but to save a 3 hour drive in the morning it helped massively. "

"Our stay was for a couple of days to attend a Wedding in Winchester. St John’s Croft is ideally placed within 5 minutes easy walk of the town centre, with on site parking at the property. The property is a lovely grand farmhouse, in a very quiet raised spot, considering how close it is to everything. The property has a lovey, relaxed, arty/boho feel to it, with a warm atmosphere. "Yes the room was ok , the television wasn't working altough the manager let me watch the tv in the room next door as it was unoccupied also I couldnt lock the door from the outside "

"Nice stay, great host, breakfast excellent, parking excellent, small room but absolutely fine for what we needed. Shortish walk to town and back, bus service available but we just walked. Definitely would stay again."

"Absolutely lovely staff, they always make sure to deliver the best experience. Very comfy bed, clean bathroom, silent most times and plenty of nature around. Feels cosy and welcoming."
