There was no free WiFi as advertised, no breakfast despite paying extra in advance and ive been bitten by either fleas/bed bugs despite moving rooms. Ive made a formal complaint and informed environmental health.

Awful
Arrived at the hotel and told to phone a number on the door to be let in - no answer. Had to walk to their other hotel where we eventually stayed. Told at the check in that there would be no breakfast even though we had paid for this for both mornings. One room smelt of cigarettes, both rooms were dirty and appliances did not work. Reception was not helpful at all, had no clue what was going on. Would not recommend at all.

Worst hotel ever
We have stayed in some basic and rough places but nowhere as awful as this disgusting 'hotel'. It was so dirty and offensive that we left after seeing the room and went elsewhere. Do not book this place, it should be condemned.

I was told there will be breakfast for me n my family but there wasn’t. And the TV wasn’t working. This was a domestic holiday for me n my family because of Covid 19. But we had to go out for lunch and before theirs tv wasn’t working.

Nice little clean hotel
I traveled solo, was given a single room on the fourth floor. Nothing to complain except no lift. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Lovely room, clean and renovated bathroom, really enjoyed my two nights stay there.

Cheap and cheerful
Good budget hotel near to Paddington station. Room was very small and the bed a bit soft for my liking. Not much space to store clothes. All very clean though, including the bathroom. Some rusted fittings but of no consequence. It was clean and very cheap for central London so I wasn't expecting the Ritz. Nice, if somewhat eclectic selection, breakfast buffet. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

The staff were great but the property is tired and needs decorating! My room wasn’t dirty but it was clean either! Skirting boards needed a wipe and don’t think anything had been pulled out for a while! Breakfast was brilliant, towels and Ben linen good quality too! Shower hot and strong

Quiet area near several transport links
Just over 5 mins walk from Edgeware and Padington tubes, this is a converted 5 story house just off the main road in a partially residential area. Wasn't able to check in at 12, but reception took care of the luggage. Single room on the top floor was pleasant enough with space to walk all the way round the bed. Fan is provided as top floor is warm and there's no air conditioning. Found the window could be left open as flies don't get that high. Plentiful tea and coffee making, soap and shampoo were supplied, but there was no soap on the first day. Room was cleaned and towels replaced every day. Plenty of power points, had three things charging at once. Breakfast is in the basement till 9:30 each day - only saw self service continental, but it looked like things could be cooked as well. Can only speak for the upstairs room which was fine. Not sure what ground floor or basement rooms might be like. Older people should be aware that it 74 steps from the front door to the top floor rooms, there aren't any lifts, and it's 89 steps to the top from the basement. Overall well located, reasonable presentation and facilities, 24 hour reception ensuring safe luggage storage, well located for the subway and Hyde Park.

Average place to stay for a night
Breakfast was ok as there was a variety of choices. I wasnt expecting the room and the bathroom to be that small and ordinary. The staff were helpful and the location is near restaurants and tube station.

Excellent value for money. Our room was small but did have a double bed. Breakfast was included in the price. It had a variety of food to sort all tastes. You will need to ask for toast, as it is cooked to order. Location a few minutes walk from Paddington Station.

Lovely
Great location - 2 minutes walk from Paddington/Hyde Park - bars and restaurants along the way ! Very helpful staff, rooms clean and bright with tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer and large mirror !! Breakfast was more than adequate and for the price we paid we will definately be staying again

If you have low expectations....
It was ok but very disappointed that my e-reader "disappeared". The room is beyond tiny (had to go out into the hall to change my mind tiny)and it was noisy. No noise barriers between rooms.

A nice time was had!
Was a comfortable stay and allowed us to do exactly what we wanted to do. Conveniently located near the underground, so we could easily get places. Staff were polite and friendly and it was easy to find and access.

I picked this place due to its reasonable price. I came back to the hotel about 12:15am after a Conference dinner at a nearby hotel and when I got back to the hotel I could not get in. I kept ringing the buzzer and telephoning the reception with no reply. After 20 minutes another resident came out of the hotel so I was able to get in. Without this I’m not sure how I would have been able to get in! I had previously asked how to get in and was told to ring the buzzer. When leaving in the morning there was no one at reception after waiting for 15 minutes so had to put the key behind reception and leave.

although our rooms were on the small size they were very comfortable,The Hotel needs to concentrate more on constantly repainting tired and worn surfaces,the stairs carpeting looked tired and stained lack of constant attention to detail lets this Hotel down with a little more effort it could be improved considerably,we wouldn't consider returning as other Hotels for the same cost are better for the reasons stated.

I booked this hotel as it was only a short walk from where our coach tour finished. Was disappointed - very small hotel, no elevator to the second floor and the room was extremely small! Had a separate toilet and a tiny wee shower and a hand-basin in the room. Only room for one case - the other person had to move theirs around. Avoid this hotel.

Nice, Clean, Convenient, Economical Hotel!!
Hotel was a couple of blocks from Paddington Station, very nice tree lined streets, lots of buses in the area, lots of restaurants too. Hotel staff was nice and the room was small/quaint but clean! The breakfast was fair or typical. However, no air conditioning in this older facility problematic.

A nice stay in London.
very clean hotel close to major London tourist attractions, close to transportation, buses, tube, rail, train stations etc ( only a block from Paddington Station) uber, tax etc. Hotel staff very friendly and caring. Do note, there is no AirCon in the rooms, so we were visiting during a 22 year high heat wave. There are fans in the rooms which helps out well. Breakfast is included. Highly recommend a stay here.

lovely neighbor hood, hotel sub-standard.
Sink in room, toilet In closet. Shower in another area in room. Only place to put luggage in front of closet, thus blocking access. No place to put toiletries, no working telephone. However, staff and owner charming and eager to help.

Don't waste your money
Very small typical London motel. No elevator only stairs to rooms, very small room 2 of us in the room with a medium size luggage was tight Bathroom very small, shower didn't have hot water until I ran it for about 15 minutes and shower was dirty, very tiny and had mold in it so after walking around London all evening wanted to get clean but felt dirty getting in and out of the shower. Stayed only one night that's the positive only.
