"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "Loved it. The staff were very accommodating during check out. Visited for a family birthday but stayed the following day for some light bites. Fold was delicious for both occassions, setting was great and staff were attentive. Highly recommend."

"Fantastic sleep, perfect for what we paid/needed, the only complaint was that the full English breakfast wasn't the best (just no real flavour/seasoning, no one in the group finished theirs) but great room slept like a log even though we were the first room on the ground floor, pub attached is great, staff were excellent "

"Victoria Lodge is very welcoming. Check in was simple. The rooms are clean, well equipped and super comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. There is parking on the driveway or free on street parking is also available. The hotel is in a lovely area with many restaurants in very short walking distance. "

"Honestly dont know why people leave bad reviews, if you want a 5 star experience, put your hand in your pocket and pay the 200 quid a night at the hilton, instead of wanting to pay 50 quid and get luxury! The staff on check in were FANTASTIC! The restaurant does decent well priced food, the rooms are adequate, the shower in ours was great. There is a shuttle to the airport, however we booked an uber.
