"It was excellent in everything"

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Sam, who seemed to be everywhere, and the hotel grounds were picturesque and well kept. The food at the wedding we attended was excellent. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the shower worked well and was a good temperature. Our only slight issue was the shower screen, which was not fully watertight, resulting in water on the floor in the bathroom, which needed hand towels to mop up the excess water, We enjoyed our stay."

"Very basic tired property. Bath/shower needs improving and shower curtain needs removing. Staff and food at lunch were good but breakfast and staff could of been so much better"

"My only issue is that the rooms don’t have air conditioning. Bed was comfortable but the heat was very tough to handle during the hot weather."

"This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. "

"We stayed in a double room which had 2 double beds. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a good shower. It would have been handy to have a little fridge. The free shuttle is a real bonus for getting to and from the terminals. We had dinner and drinks, not breakfast. The bar and restaurant are very nice but although some of the staff were very helpful and friendly, one or two were less so. Overall it's goid value for money and I would recommend for an airport stay."

"The staff were very welcoming even when we arrived very late (23:50) somewhat wet and bedraggled after a horrendous drive in the rain up the M6. We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. We would be happy to stay again."

Bathroom needs deep clean of tiles, taps or preferably refurbished as bath chipped and holes in tiles from previous fittings very poorly filled. Paint chips on the furniture.
