The gardens and grounds are stunning with art , statues from orginal owners travels. Do not miss the history tour of the property given by the general manager. The location is peaceful but just few blocks from the historical hub and resturants. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting St. augustine! "

There was a mistake that another customer had made on their booking thinking that they had booked for two days instead of one, so our room was unavailable so the staff had put us up in the deluxe room which overlooked the beach and had a private balcony for no extra charge!!! "The motel is very charming and the partial ocen view from the deluxe king room upstairs was wonderful. Balcony and tub were huge. The carpet does need to be replaced with laminate or tile, as it stays very moist and leaves a lingering mildew odor which impacts air quality. In the end, the proximity to the actual beach/ocean wins it for this property, and we were glad we chose it over the newer, fancier places farther from the sea. "
