Excellent location and super friendly staff. Rooms are well appointed and very quiet. The cooked breakfast and breakfast room was great!

Breakfast was excellent. Location was really good. We were surprised about the unkempt appearance of the outside and the interiors are definitely vintage. Struggled with the TV remotes and sent a message for assistance and did not receive a response. The next day we discovered the water was off at a most inopportune time - again sent a message a received no response - went to the common area and ran into the house manager and she let us know about the water and helped with the TV situation. Water restored later that day. Don’t know if we would book here again.

The location is good. The service is not good. There is no staff except breakfast which only lasts one hour. That means there is no open area you can stay. No water. You must wait at least 30 minutes if there is some problem in your room.
The room was very cute and the location was great. Staff was nice. Improvements should be made to the water pressure as it barely trickled out. There was minimal hot water and it appeared the air conditioner wasn’t working either. It was cool so we opened the windows but it was terribly loud outside. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.
Pull back sheets found bug running across the bed. Outside area smelled like litter box. Outside handrail to treehouse very loose and scary. Being an older person needs railing. No refrigerator, parking nightmare, saw a current review saying the toilet seat needed replacing, guess what still not fixed. Almost fell off it in the middle of the night. Bed was uncomfortable and to high up off floor. We booked the room four four nights and left a day early because we just wanted to leave that place. Will never stay at Penny Farthing again. Nasty place.

The room, bed & balcony were awesome & memorable. Although we checked in late, the hostess was gracious & awesome. The breakfast was delicious & made with care. If we return to St Augustin, this will be our place to go to, just off the beaten path & away from the craziness. An absolute gem, just lovely. My wife & I couldn't be happier.

The Inn is centrally located and it has lots of potential. However the upkeep has fallen way behind.

we had a wonderful stay here. the staff was very nice
We had a wonderful time. Everyone was nice. It was a very relaxing weekend.
We enjoyed walking the old parts of the city and the Christmas lights were beautiful
The breakfast was delicious and a lot of comfort food but balanced with fruit, meat options, bread with coffee and tea. Parking is difficult because it is small but its a bed and breakfast so that's expected.
Also, there's one caveat, it would be best if they had an ice maker.
Not sure how this place got an exception rating. Dated. Dirty. Parking horrible. Not response to no hot water from first day. Didn’t experience breakfast or happy hour so I won’t comment. Location is decent. Very disappointed overall.
