"The resort was fantastic, quiet and tucked away on a private bay, the views of the ocean never got old. Staff was super pleasant and accommodating. Beach is amazing. *and the bay is protected so we had none of the sargassum. We did the all inclusive option which I would recommend- the options are a bit limited but all the food was very very good. Also the Ala carte pricing is pretty steep. The rooms were very nice and all are looking out on the ocean- not ocean view meaning you cram your head...

"View was spectacular. Food at resort was primo as well. Beach is "open from 10-6" meaning if you want service, towel, or chair its 10-6. You can still take an early morning dip. Valet was chill, staff was chill. View again was great. Rainbow cafe is two/three doors down. Cool spot, but they party over there until midnight on the weekends. It is loud when they are partying and the bass shakes the whole block. Be aware of that. If you want to have dinner at the restaurant it closes at 8,...

"We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten. The Villa was also nicely located so we’re weren’t right in the craziness, but a short drive away. But, there were somethings that took away from our experience. We weren’t given any towels in our room for the stay, and the bedding in the rooms was a bit stained. It did feel a bit untidy around the...

"Staff was some of the most friendly people on the island. Biggest downfall was the insane amount of seaweed, cannot swim in beach and seaweed left a horrible smell even in our room we could smell it. They try to bulldoze it away so it’s not their fault it’s just the unfortunate beach condition."

"Flew in from JFK and was great! Hotel is very close to airport. Planes fly over very close all day long. You could even walk to the airport to the hotel if you wanted to. Beach is beautiful and the pool was awesome. Rooms have kitchens in them and there was a grocery store right across the street. Liquor store is a two minute walk. Restaurant on the property food was great; service was a little slow but when sitting watching the waves crash was relaxing. Plenty of pool chairs."

"Room was clean and lovely, the bed comfy, good layout. Ocean view spectacular, bathroom good: plenty of towels water pressure good. Minor things: kitchen needs a set of tongs for turning and lifting hot items while cooking, the shower is a bit awkward because of the opeing to step in and the fan leaked over the toilet. Otherwise, a great place for my first visit to St. Martaan. The staff was kind and friendly and helpful always."
