"We had a bit of a rocky start with the hotel as the parking was incorrectly listed on the posting which was one of the driving factors for selecting the hotel. However the staff was attentive and provided as much information as they good and complimentary champagne. It was also an abnormally hot day and our room on the top floor was almost 30 degrees. "Hotel Estherea is a unique hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, close to the 9 Streets. We absolutely loved the decor of the hotel, the attentive staff and the lounge areas of the hotel, which felt like a throwback to a bygone age. Each room has it's own individual decor, and excellent amenities, which makes your stay even more special. If you're lucky you may meet Wimmels the hotel's resident cat, who holds court in the reception. I would highly recommend the hotel, and we will definitely visit...

"We stayed at the hotel twice in June 2025, for five nights each time. We loved the hotel, but we especially appreciated the kind and attentive staff. A special shout out to Bruno who was very helpful, and accommodating during our stay. We will definitely be back to Amsterdam, and this is where we will be staying."

"Nice hotel with a great view of the canals and very close to many of the interesting things to do and see in Amsterdam. The staff were not great, grade of a B, but the hotel was busy and the staff were busy. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but is in need of a "face lift". My wife and I have stayed here twice and would again."

"It was a really nice hotel — truly a home away from home. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the entire hotel was very clean. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the museums. I highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay — be sure to try the crêpes, they were delicious!"
