OUTRIGGER Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa

"We stayed at the outrigger for 7 nights on our honeymoon. It was almost 2 months since the hurricane so some damage and operations outages were to be expected. I just wish we had a little heads up about what wasn’t working yet, like the outside pool bar and pool limitations, since I called a few weeks in advance to ask. We opted for one of the rooms upon booking that hasn’t been remodeled but our issues with cleanliness was mostly from lack of maid services. They promised at least limited service every other day and we only got one day of service during our whole stay. We had to ask for new towels on 3 occasions. I will say the best part about the outrigger is the staff! They were awesome and helped with every request and answered every question. It rained really hard on our last day and the whole staff was very attentive to the property! The location for the outrigger was fantastic for not having the rental car for a few days and being able to uber back to get one. Also, in the sense that we were able to enjoy all parts of the island throughout our week!"

"A very homey and comfortable 5 night stay. The grounds are beautiful. This was after lots of rain, so the advisory was to NOT swim in the ocean, and the advertised pool across the street was under renovation so there was no getting in the water. I did book a snorkel excursion, and the water was safe for swimming on the other side of the island. Not being able to have my daily morning/evening swim was a disappointment for sure, but these things happen. I'll have to come back."

"Very clean. Good central location for exploring but not my favorite location on the island. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fun to borrow the bikes. Just wish they had a couple kids bikes. Great value stay"

"The staff and customer service was very kind and helpful; they were kind enough to accommodate us and upgrade our room free of charge which we thought was generous. Although, a few outlets to both our first and second room did not seem to work, either way we enjoyed our stay."

"The overall hotel experience was great. The staff were all super friendly and helpful with any questions or issues that arose. The room itself was very clean and comfortable for our stay. No issues with parking, as there was always a spot for us to find and even if we had to walk a little further from the main parking lot it didn’t phase us as we got to experience the beauty of the resort as we did so. Breakfast has great hours and offers a good variety of food and drinks at the morning coffee bar. Overall it was a great place for our vacation and would highly recommend to other people. Can’t wait to go back and experience everything again ourselves!"
