Nice big room with a view. It has a mini fridge, which you will want to stock with sandwiches & drinks because the restaurants are all choked with cigarette smoke and worse, and serve awful food at astronomical prices. Pool and workout room closed before I could use them.

Overall clean property. Thankfully lacking some of the classic Vegas odors. There was a solid layer of dust in some corners (particularly behind the headboard). But otherwise a very well maintained property. I definitely plan to come back as the value for the stay is amazing.

Rooms are clean and fairly large for what you pay. There were a few minor issues with the room amenities. The phone would cut off if you moved it. Hot water didn't work but they fixed that immediately. It was super busy so the bell hop was an hour or longer wait. Overall, I enjoyed the stay at the Rio. I rate it 5 stars. I'm a very simple guy though.

The renovated room was so nice! Me and my 2 girls loved it, especially the bathroom, it is new shower and all, the roomy toiletry area and big couch and big tv I was in Vegas to watch a concert the eve 4th of July, so the price was very good. I didn't care about the pool but my daughter said lounging chairs need to be updated. I order sheets and pillows they came in 5 minutes. AI CHECK IN worked awesome too. I was given the choice to upgrade to the renovated room which I loved and I checked in 5 minutes without standing in line. I wish they would fix the smell and put ac in the hallways so it smells fresh and feels cool. It is a good hotel for this price including free valet. I saw some families who chose Rio as the rooms are also big more like a suite.

I actually had a medical emergency while staying at this hotel and it was handled perfectly. Security was there when the ambulance has arrived to assist with getting me in the ambulance. The staff was accommodating to my belongings in the room. They made sure they got my suitcases out and kept them for some a family member to pick up. And that was handled professionally and efficiently. This hotel was above and beyond the room was gorgeous. The upgrade was fabulous. It was just one of my best experiences and I had the 180° room with the views oh my gosh, it was so amazing.

The room I got was very roomy and spacious. The signage was a little confusing trying to find the front desk. The elevator in the parking garage was inoperable both days I was there with no signage stating that fact. After 11 p.m. there was very few restaurants open for food. The food I did get was delicious from a chicken strip place. There was a ice machine on my floor but I didn't find a soda or water vending machine. Overall it was a good hotel but it could've been better.
