"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. "

"The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. I stayed for 4 nights with my two teenage kids, and they absolutely loved the cosy look and feel of the chalet. "The property grounds are very well landscaped. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. "
