The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds.
