"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast. Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place! I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows...

"I stayed here for a night during my Costa Rica trip. The eco lodge is eco-friendly, the staff was really nice. The peark of staying at the Tirimbina lodge is that you do not have to pay an extra fee for the hikes through the reserve. The place is nice and clean, you are surrounded by nature and that is why I went there. I did the night guided tour and it was thrilling to cross the bridge at night. If you go there, that is a must ! "

"La Quinta is a very welcoming place. The staff is fantastic: very responsive and capable in every respect. I have to make special mention of Diego, who greeted me warmly when I arrived and helped me finalize arrangements to visit two local nature preserves. Diego is enthusiastic and exceptionally competent. I also want to tip my hat to Leonardo, the chef. He make a lamb dish one night that was out of this world. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"
