The individual chalets were adorable. The breakfast included was hardy and delish. They are also a restraunt and the dinner food was excellent. They are in a convenient location to get to La Paz waterfall gardens and Poas volcano. Used their laundry service that was wonderful. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. I would def stay there again.

The view from the property is very nice. The service is excellent. The breakfast included is very good. The cabins could use some maintenance and the beds are a bit stiff.

A beautiful location with views of the mountain valley. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Norman in particular was helpful and spent time talking to us about some of the costa Rican areas of interest including the local strawberry enterprise. I recommend the strawberry crepe.

Very quiet , away from the noisy city. Near the Poaz Volcano. Breakfast included, delicious ! The 3 max-person accommodations are great, well equipped for a rustic, yet comfortable stay. Staff were vert attentive. Thanks Norman and Hortensias Chalet staff !

Unique Costa Rican Chalet with a View

Pride of ownership, and it shows. Quaint chalet, wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley and close to all amenities and natural tourist attractions. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent value.

Quaint villas

In a beautiful location. No TV in villa, just be aware. Check in was a breeze and great service. Not far from La Paz Waterfall and gardens. Free breakfast was good and there is a good soda around the few corners of road. Would stay again.

Perfect all around!!

Amazing stay! We originally booked 2 nights because it was our first time visiting Costa Rica and didn't want to commit to more in one area, but we loved it so much that we decided to stay a 3rd night. Located close to many amazing waterfall hikes, the Poaz volcano, and the La Paz waterfall. Breakfast included was a huge plus, and their dinner menu and quality was excellent! Very nice cottage style home, amazing views, and an excellent staff. Highly recommend!

The best thing about this property was the people. Everyone was so gracious and pleasnt and helpful. You can tell they love what they do. Our chalet was perfect. They are small, but very comfortable. It was tucked back in a garden, which was fun to walk through . We would definitely go back to this lication.

The property is well taking care. Spectacular views.The Christmas decoration was beautiful. The room are super neat and I love the detail than the garden outside match the name of the chalet.
