"Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) "

"Wir hatten eine Familienunterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern sowie eigenem Jacuzzi. Es gab zusätzlich eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen in einer wunderbarer Gartenanlage. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und zu jederzeit hilfsbereit. "OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!) And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking. Check in/ check outs were...

"If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). "We enjoyed 4 nights in September in this beautiful place. It was so tough to leave the stunning garden, comfortable room, lovely staff, and luxurious pool behind. The room was clean, breakfast was ideal for an active day, and the location was very convenient. "
