Here are a couple reasons we didn’t love it: the hot springs are basically a couple jacuzzis coated with a black plaster, the sauna wasn’t steamy or hot enough, the gym needed a reservation and wasn’t available before our early departure, you can’t walk anywhere from here and the staff interactions were a little forced. "We really liked the stay here. It had a great view and location right in town. The restaurant on site was very convenient with included breakfast each morning. They even arranged an early breakfast for us one morning as we had a tour leaving earlier than the opening time. Food was average, didn't wow me but did the job. We stayed in cabin 3 and it had a sewage smell from the minute we walked in that never left. We didn't experience this at our other lodgings in Monteverde or Manuel Antonio, so...

"I stayed in one of the cabins in this property and it had a beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano from the balcony and the room. You could hear the birds chirping right in the morning. The property is located right off the main road but these cabins are at the back surrounded by plants. Location was very central for all day activities and 5 mins drive to town. Room was clean and breakfast was good. It had galla pinto, eggs and fruits everyday. I would stay at the property again."
