"The hotel staff were all really, really nice. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff were all really, really nice. The room was beautifully clean, although we did have a small problem with our air-conditioning unit which was promptly fixed and the fridge temperature was a little bit too low because we had two cans of Coca-Cola exploded as they had frozen. The swimming pool was just the right size, although the quality of the water was not the best. It was a bit cloudy and there were areas of the pool that had floating scum on them. We did bring this to the attention of the maintenance folks who did address it. But the Pool could have been cleaner. The beds were beautifully comfortable, the pillows were beautifully comfortable, the water pressure was fantastic, the daily housekeeping was also fantastic. I would totally stay at this hotel again."

"Around the outside of this hotel is extremely chaotic but once youโre inside itโs definitely a nice quaint stay. The rooms are clean, although I did find a silverfish in my room. The pool area was very nice and well kept, Iโm not sure what the pool hours are though because on Saturday night there were people still swimming in the pool at midnight/1am which isnโt a problem at all, I just Iโm not sure of what exactly the pool hours are. I enjoyed having the bar there to grab a quick drink, the bartenders were awesome at Tomโs! The only thing I would say on the downside is if youโre staying on a Friday or Saturday there is a ton of noise until probably one or 2 AM thereโs tons of people at the bars, drunk people coming from the casino and the stadium and I donโt think everything shuts down until much later so just be prepared for that. I could still hear music from my room around 1:30 AM I probably wouldnโt recommend this hotel for a quiet stay or family with young children it just seems more of like a party hotel and deathly somewhere youโd stay if youโd like to drink and are seeing a concert nearby that case it would be perfect!"

"Glendale Express is an up and coming major hotel location: convenient to both east Hollywood and Glendale/Burbank areas. It needs a gym/workout space, however. The room was spacious and quiet. The air conditioner was especially quiet and worked perfectly. The refrig was huge and very cold: excellent. The elevators were clean and fast. The cable TV, however, is hooked to a cable service that does not allow the hotel guest to view a guide that shows what programs are showing or are upcoming in the next hours. Get a better cable provider ! We really liked the retro Formica bathroom sink. The continental breakfast treats and coffee were just the right amount. The coffee was very good. There needs to be a little more seating in the lobby. Maybe some cafe tables by those big windows..."
