Hotel was in a good location, walkable to train stations and shopping. I would recommend getting a room on the opposite to the road as the windows were thin and the traffic was loud.

This hotel is truly awesome! The staff is extremely kind and the rooms are wonderful. Everything we needed was pretty close walking distance from the hotel, such as shopping, transport, and Nijo Castle was just down the street. Everything about this hotel was fantastic! If you are staying in the area I highly recommend staying here!

Very pleasant stay

Nice hotel. Stayed there for 12 nights. Not in the tourist center, but close by and with around 20 bus lines in the area, it's easy to get around. Nice onsen. Fitness room for 550 yen. Abundant breakfast with Japanese, western and Chinese style. You pre-booked a time slot for your breakfast so you avoid lines. Possibility for both lunch and dinner here. Many groups stay here, but it all runs smooth. Possible to follow the onsen and laundry machines on the TV.

Its a lovely hotel. The gym is adequate (costs 550yen to use) and the facilities are clean. Only downside is that it is not central so you have to take transport to get into the main areas of Kyoto.

Hotel was lovely. Staff very friendly. Used the public bath which was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was a good combination of Asian and western so something for everyone. Annoying we had to pay extra for the children for breakfast despite clearly booking the room for four. Don't quite understand why adults got it free but not children. Good location, near the shops.

Good value hotel for the price. Very clean and good condition. The spa was quite small but very pleasant, same for the gym, but I enjoyed both a lot. Location is ok - decent amenities around it and I walked everywhere, but I imagine most people get taxis or public transport to main attractions. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a cheaper hotel with nice spa facilities!
