Lovely traditional style hotel! The room has a very nice homely feeling and the beds are very comfortable. The location is also 15 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station and is right across the road from the serene Nishi Hongan-ji Temple.

Even though is an old hotel you really feel the Japanese immersion, we slept on tatami mat and they gave us Yukatas, Kyoto station is just 15 min away.

I enjoyed staying in this ryokan, with tatami flooring and futon bed. There was a small private bathroom with bath/shower as well as a larger communal bathroom. The room had everything I needed and even a view of the amazing shrine next door.

Eine alte Unterkunft mit dünnen Wänden und zentraler Lage. Hatte auch wenig Probleme mit der Sauberkeit die von anderen Besuchern strak kritisiert wurde.

Good Ryokan, but...

Very warm welcome and impeccable service. On the other hand, the soundproofing is very poor and we could hear everything that was going on in the street (lots of passing cars and motorcyclists taking advantage of the straight line to accelerate). Apart from that, our room would have deserved to be renovated.

まぁまぁ。

私はそこまで潔癖症ではないのですが、部屋の畳には髪の毛が落ちていたり、襖などの溝にホコリがたまっているのがきになりました。 ゴールデンウィークに7名で宿泊できる施設もないと思うので、泊まることができて良かったです。

超格安で京都の和室旅館に泊まれる。決して新しくはないが不都合はない。中浴場もある。西本願寺の真向かい。共同便所(男女別)が苦にならなければ。

朝、5時半ごろ、西本願寺の鐘の音を聞けました。寺の鐘の音を聞くことがめったにありませんので、門前のお宿としての雰囲気があって、よかったです。

西本願寺目の前のホテル

部屋から西本願寺が望めるとても良い立地にあるホテルです。 前日予約だったので安く泊まることができました。 ホテル内は清掃が行き届いており、とても快適に過ごすことができました。 有難うございました。

Well & Nice Hostel

Good experience and the staff can speak English & Mandarin, the service is very good and can help you to solve problem. The traffic, can get on the bus no.9 at Kyoto station and get down at 2 nos. of bus stop. After get down the bus and walk back the direction and cross the road to opposite side and turn left side. Walk in through 6 & 7 nos. of house and arrived. In other way by walk from Kyoto station to Hostel are 10-15 minute. So it is accept by us. Overall is good for me.
