A relatively inexpensive place in a great location in central Kyoto, friendly and helpful staff, decent room, quiet. This is not a 5 star hotel, more like 2-3 stars but a good one, with a nice atmosphere. I’d stay again for sure.
The staffs of the hotel are very nice and the hotel is at nice location and the ambience is calm and quiet. I liked the hotel very much during my stay.
The location is excellent for sightseeing and i had really good night's sleep. The room has everything you need and a really comfortable bed, but be aware, the room and bathroom is outdated, but perfectly clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
It was really nice for a single room at that price and I had a great view from my room. The staff were very helpful and I loved being able to get the city bus from right outside. There was a bit of noise but earplugs are a must have for travelling at this budget ❤️
the staff was very friendly and helpful, property was so clean and great but for the transportation you need took a bus to get to the close train station or taxi that cost not really expensive, convenience store is near to the property just walk 1 minutes.
Uraraka was the perfect base for my exploration of Kyoto. The room was small but clean and had had everything I needed. At the price, it was fantastic value. There were plenty of dining options nearby and it was close to public transport. The manager was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended.
Good location with several nearby bus stops. Roomy enough for 2. Good lighting and cooking area. Very good trash collection & towel laundry. Needs a dining table and chairs instead of the very uncomfortable couch-bed as no usable eating spot. The table chairs would be more comfortable to watch TV than that terrible couch. A couple of suitcase racks would be nice. Overall satisfied with apartment as a good value with good staff and location.
Super well located, laundry service super useful. Buses pass just outside

As the most important factor, regardless of cost, in staying in a hotel would be good, comfortable and uninterrupted rest, the noise levels at this hotel, it would seem structurally given how thin the walls are, and for whatever reason how easily noise travels, were really uncomfortable. I am a light sleeper, and sleep is extremely important to to me as I’m sure it is with most others. And it was really quite unfortunate that the noise, even general ambience noise affecting the room and my sleep, was fairly extreme at times.
Very simple standard.
High price in relation to what one gets but Kyoto is expensive these days.

The room was of a decent size. However, the bathroom was too small. I had to be careful so I wouldn't hit my head on the ceiling when taking a shower. Also, the room is not soundproof at all. We stayed 4 nights, and each morning, we woke up with the noises from other rooms or the reception before 8 AM.
