Location was excellent as it was very close to the subway. Starbucks was located beside the hotel - definitely a bonus. This is an older hotel so rooms are a bit dated, however, they are spacious compared to other Japanese hotels.

Excellent location, nice sized rooms and great service! Conveniently located next to a 7-Eleven and connected to a Starbucks. The Karasuma line had a train stop right in front of the hotel. Quick walk to Nishiki Market as well! Would definitely stay at Karasuma Kyoto Hotel again!

Excellent location as we took Hankyu train from Osaka and Kintetsu train to Nara. Karasuma subway entrance was right at front of Hotel. Next door was the Nishijin Museum and downstairs was Starbucks! Staff was so helpful, especially with sending luggage by courier service.
