Newly renovated hotel with modern design. Our superior king room was very spacious for Japan standards. Plus we have lounge access which is a nice touch. Very convenient if you don’t wanna go out for dinner. There’s also a fitness center and laundry facility. The staff are very professional, courteous and accommodating especially Jessica, who assisted us with our luggage delivery to the next hotel, as well as our dry cleaning. They always greeted us with a smile. Very close to Kyoto station and shopping district with lots of eateries around the area. We would stay here again when in Kyoto. Thank you!

Amazing hotel
Amazing hotel with over 5 star standards! I asked for an early check-in as coming from a very long journey and they arranged for me for a very small fee ( that is the standard procedure in Japan) Room was spacious, spotless clean and full with luxury toiletries, tea and coffee maker and water) Breakfast was fabulous, both Japanese and US/ European selection. Can't wait to come back!

Good-sized rooms, especially for Japan. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. Very pleasant staff. We did not have breakfast on-site but it looked nice. On-site laundry machines are a great benefit. The machine is an all-in-one washer/dryer that even has soap, but be prepared to allow 2-3 hours for everything to be done (the machine has a secure code so you can leave and nobody will steal your clothes.) A sento would’ve been nice, but there is so much to see in Kyoto, you really don’t miss it. It’s a short walk from the Shinkansen-side of Kyoto Station, our room even had a view of the Shinkansen trains. Very quiet, comfy bed. Your key only works for your floor, if you are concerned about security. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Grande. Very accessible position, 5 minutes to Kyoto station, which means you can quickly reach wherever in Kyoto from there. However, it is quite quiet, so you may sleep comfortably. Breakfast is a highlight, wonderful and filling.Everything is amazing, so we decided to return in the fall. However, I was told that it will close in June. It's too bad!

The hotel is at the Kyoto Station, center hub of transportation in Japan. There are many shopping malls and restaurants and landmark places at a short distance. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet served (option) is very good. Hotel staffs are friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

This Hotel was a very close to the train which was convenient and very nice and roomy. Laundry facility was a big plus!!! Front desk staff was helpful and very nice. Very nice Hotel for the price!
