Compared to other places we stayed, Moksa offered spacious rooms with bathrooms completely separate from the showers, plus adorable, comfortable loungewear to wear around the property. We also loved the sauna and contrast therapy sessions, which were excellent value. This is absolutely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"we had an amazing time at Seryo!! the staff was immediately incredibly welcoming and showed us all the amenities and our wonderful room with a perfect garden view. the food was incredible and they even adjusted everything to be vegan for me!! we unfortunately had a less than desired experience at a different ryokan right after our perfect experience at Seryo which just affirmed that Seryo was the right decision!! highly recommend and would love to go back again in the future!
