"Well located hotel located near several onsens and close to the main street. Not too far from the moving sidewalk to the lifts (although there is an unavoidable very steep hill). We booked a room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and of a decent size. Main downssides were the significant premium we paid over other hotels, which we in retrospect have trouble believing was justified, and the very poor western

"We are the repeaters. This the rare co-ed onsen which allows you to go in with your friends and family. The onsen was filled with milky warm water so that you can stay in long hours and enjoy other people's company. Very relaxing environment surrounded by mountains. The food was omakase and very good. We enjoyed all of the local cuisine items with great beer and sake. "
