"Calm, quiet, beautiful, worth it. This is the place you should stay at in Komatsu and cancel whatever place you’re thinking to stay. Add the daily breakfast - it was the perfect portion, well executed, and felt like someone cared about the food they made you. The rooms are unique, comfortable, and had every amenity imaginable. The staff were incredibly kind, and with our toddler we were worried about causing too much noise, but they assured us all was fine and made us feel very welcome. The cafe is great too if you need a bite to eat or a quick snack, we highly recommend the sandwiches! Amazing! The area is quiet and peaceful, great for walking and exploring, and just a short distance away from many things to do. You can stay at big chain hotels anywhere, so make your stay in Komatsu memorable and give this place a try, you won’t regret it."

"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden."

"The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was small but had the essentials. The walls were dirty so more care could have been taken to clean them properly after stays. We appreciated the croissants and free coffee. Good value for money for a short stay in Komatsu!"

"Great location, clean, and comfortable. I would like to see phone charges on both sides of the bed. Price is a little high for the location but still competitive. This was our second time starting here and it does not disappoint."

If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "
