"We arrive at the Komatsu Airport at 9 PM. The Route-Inn shuttle picked us up a 9:15 PM and took us right to the hotel. The English speaking manager explained to us the details for taking the Route-Inn shuttle to the train station the next day. In the morning, we enjoyed the free breakfast buffet which had an excellent selection of food. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well."

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"This was my first time to stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and I really like it! The hotel was a bit old but still in good condition. "Our experience was lovely! We stayed two nights. The staff was so accomodating--it was our first experience at a traditional ryokan, and the staff was very helpful in explaining various customs. They made us feel very at home. The free shuttle to and from the station was very convenient and easy to reserve. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and pleasant as well, with matcha and sweets provided at check-in as an opportunity to rest and look out on the garden. Our room was gorgeous, with a stunning view of the mountains, and sleeping on the tatami was extremely comfortable. We reserved the private onsen both nights of our stay (for a small fee) and that was also a simple and convenient process. Finally, breakfast was amazing--all of the numerous dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. Overall, it was a truly magical experience staying at Houshi Ryokan. We left this morning and already want to go back! ありがとうございました!"
