We stayed at Kobe Plaza Hotel West and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel has its excellent location right on Motomachi shopping street, just a short walk from Motomachi Station and close to restaurants, shops, Chinatown and other attractions — making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring Kobe on foot.The beds are not small at all.

The hotel is centrally-situated. We walked or took a short train ride most of the time since it’s close all the places we wanted to go to. The staff is very helpful as well and the facility was very clean and cozy.

Great hotel located in the Motomachidori arcade, only a few minutes walk to Motomachi station and harbour town. The staff were very accomodating and were very proficient in other languages, even using slang terms from my country

Great hotel! The staff were so lovely and the room was clean. The hotel was even giving out free popscicles because of the summer heat. Close to shopping and food and trains. 11/10 would stay again

Very central location to shopping, restaurants and transit. The lobby area is welcoming, as are the staff. In the room, the high touch surfaces were overall clean, but there were cobwebs and dust on unused surfaces. Also the room is very small. Minimal amenities (ie a coffee pot, but no coffee or bottled water).

I thought I paid for the breakfast 🤔. Staff behind the desk were so, so ,so professional. Plenty of places to eat. The hotel is in one of those covered streets. Convenience 7/11 a few shops away & the metro a 3 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it 100%. Rooms not huge, but we know that about Japan. But as usual, spotlessly clean.

The staff here are so kind, so helpful and accommodating. So much respect for how they treat their guests. The room was very nice, very modern looking and in a really good area. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend you to do the same!

I stayed in a single room which was compact but the perfect size for me. It was well kept, clean, etc. The location is perfect; right in Motomachi and a short walk to a few major attractions. Even though the hotel is in Motomachi, it was still pretty quiet. I tried to add 2 more nights, but the hotel was fully booked. The staff were helpful with my check-in and helping me figure out the additional nights (even though it didn’t work out).

Good location - located on Motomachi shopping street and 4 mins from Nankinmachi. Room was on the smaller side as it was a single room but clean, bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly. If you decide to pay for their breakfast option, it comes with the choice of 3 set menus (at least 5-6 dishes). Would definitely stay here again.

The property was conveniently in a shopping/outlet street. When leaving the hotel you will have access to a variety of food, shops, and general shops like Daiso and Matusmoto Pharmacy. The subway is about a 5-10 minute walk away depending on which line you want to take. The hotel also offers a multi-purpose washer/dryer with lockable machines. No need to buy detergent as the machine dispenses it for you and performs drying as well at no extra charge. The staff was very kind, informative on local shops, and flexible when I experienced delays in my arrival date. I would highly recommend this location for flexible access to Osaka and Kyoto for day trips.
