My friends and I absolutely loved staying at Arimaonsen Musubi-no-koyado En, from the second we stepped in they were incredibly hospitable and provided everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and spacious and all onsen were within walking distance. We had such a good time and will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the incredible stay.
The location is perfect, between kin no yu and gin no yu hot springs. There are good restaurants nearby and the hotel’s breakfast is very good. Excellent for a relaxing time.
This is a hostel, thus the toilet is shared with others. The room is like my bed room, but I like it! This give me the home feeling. The staff is so kind and helpful, I remembered that day the weather was so cold, the staff noticed and gave me a cup of hot tea. That’s so considerate.

The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinner, breakfast, and nearby spots. A little disappointing is that it is not a hotel, so there is no toilet or hand washing place in each room, and you need to use it in the shared space. The room may feel small. However, the city is small, so I would like to use it again near the outdoor bath and places to eat. Overall evaluation is ★★★★.
My stay was pleasant overall, but a few improvements would help future guests.
The hotel is located high on a hill, which can be challenging with luggage, and signage is minimal—a very small Japanese-only sign makes the entrance easy to miss. Rooms and shared bathrooms may be on different floors, so you might need to use the stairs at night. The no-shoe policy fits the building, but the provided slippers are quite slippery, especially on stairs; safer ones would be appreciated.
The elevator is only for luggage, so accessibility may be an issue. In the shared toilet area, there was no seat disinfectant or soap for the small sink. My room had only two outlets, so an outlet extender would help. A kettle is provided, but no tea or coffee, which would be a nice touch for the price.
Check-in is limited to 3–8 PM and wasn’t clearly stated. Directions were unclear, and the Google Maps link provided didn’t work. Breakfast, offered at an extra cost, was nice but had no tea or coffee. Communication focused heavily on rules, which felt a bit unwelcoming.
With a few adjustments, the stay could be much more comfortable.
Virkelig flot og dejligt sted, vær dog opmærksom på at personalet kun taler japansk, at adressen herinde på Hotels er forkert, og at der er gratis morgenmad selvom Hotels prøver at få dig til at betale mere
